Dale`s Seafood in Whiteville

FIRST & LAST VISIT food was tasteless greasy even salt couldn't help..service was good very cold in there & soda was missing flavor maybe too much ice.. and can not recommend sorry we won't be back

Good quality seafood. Friendly, fast service. Southern hospitality and comfortable casual atmosphere. Always a treat.

Food was good but the service and atmosphere was very bad. Seems as though no one knew what they were doing. Total chaos.

My second trip here. I manufacturer an environmentally friendly absorbent which is used by HERR in Whiteville, NC. This is where the Dale's Sea Food Restaurant is located. My first visit was out of necessity, starving and stumbled upon it. I was impressed, so this trip I made plans to eat here again. Not disappointed! Highly recommend

Calabash style seafood. If this place was located in calabash, they'd be the best spot in calabash.

My wife and I had lunch at Dale's. They were busy, but the service and food were fine. Most of their lunch clientele were senior citizens. This is a good indicator of the reasonable prices.

This is the absolute best restaurant in Columbus County! Fantastic daily specials! Love their fresh seafood. Excellent cooks,and waitstaff. Great Job!!! Alan Gerald

Good seafood. Decent prices. The Dales at lake waccamaw is the best of the three.

Food was okay at best. On the seafood plate, very few shrimp, fish was good but the crab was way under cooked. Dale's is the only seafood restaurant that I know of that doesn't include a salad with the price of the plate. Waitress was not very polite. This the first time I had been to Dale's in years. I don't see me going back again. I would much rather drive the 20 miles to Adam's seafood in Tabor City.

Fantastic oyster roast, excellent fried shrimp, golden brown hush puppies, what more could you want!

Busiest I had ever seen the place. Food came out quickly and at the same quality as always. Great teamwork by the staff.

Service is always fairly good. But they keep the place cold, and they're way too expensive. Don't eat here very often, and that probably won't ever change.

Best seafood in Columbus county!

You have got to try the oyster roast. You can get a half a pan instead of a full pan. One half pan is perfect for two people.

Seafood as good as, or even better, than at at beach. From October until March this is a good place for steamed oysters. Be aware, you must shuck your own.

Floor dirty, waitress slow didn't care, ordered steamed oysters were overcooked. The couple at next table to us spoke to manager about their lack of service, manager didn't care. Been eating at Dale's Seafood in Whiteville,NC for 15 to 20 years , won't be back.

The food were great.But the service were very poor I don't know were it because it were a black women came in with a white lady. Why we didn't get good service. But I will visit again.

A good average seafood restaurant. The food is good but could be better with less greasiness. Service is real good and the staff is made up of good friendly and courteous people.

Just had dinner in wife's hometown. Been eating at Dale's as long as they have been open. Always great seafood and service.

Although the hostess & server were exceptionally pleasant, they were not enough to make eating there a worthwhile experience. Maybe it’s a homegrown thing, but I didn’t like any of the food. Def not what I expected, especially since I’m an inveterate seafood consumer.

I love Dale's.Ever since I met my wife who is from this area we have been coming to the two Dale's locations.We just recently stopped in with the family on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was non-existent. We put two tables together and the staff was real nice about accommodating 10 of us.The service was quick and friendly. I don't think there were any mistakes for the whole table.I ordered a small seafood platter and it is two meals worth of food. The servings here will make you a big ole' boy. I'm not complaining though.The hush puppies are heavenly and the sweet tea is truly southern. I tend to go for half and half so I can stave off diabetes. The deviled crabs are superstars BTW. You should get at least one.Prices are not bad considering you will leave with a big full belly. Bathrooms are clean and we'll stocked and parking is plentiful outside. This is a nice off the beaten gem.

Do better.. not impressed.. called in a order, only to get home and find out it was wrong. Called in to have it replaced and was told nothing could be done until MONDAY.. this was Friday.. didn't even waste my time to call back after the weekend..

I ordered the steak and glad I did👌but so wish you made your own ranch at least.

Ordered Hamburger Steak to go last night, after I payed and took the bag off the counter it almost went to the ground it was so heavy!! I may need back surgery.. I am kidding, but when I got home and opened the box the steak was about the size of my hood on my Ford! It was so good! Smothered in grilled peppers and onions, then on the side they give you what looks like a 5 gallon bucket of the best Mushroom gravy this side of the Mississipi! Think I spelled that wrong. So it also came with a baked potato which was great and a big slab of Texas Toast! All of this for under 10 bucks. Wowzer.... I will be back next Monday. You guys r the best!

The service was fantastic! I had 3 sizes of shrimp platters to choose from and my sweet tea was constantly full. Sad I'll have to wait a whole year to go back.

I've never had food there be so bad

Superior seafood at an excellent price. The restaurant was very busy, which was to be expected for a Saturday night, but the food was worth the wait. The hush puppies were cooked perfectly and brought out hot. I ordered the deluxe platter for myself and my son to share. There was so much food that we couldn't even finish half of it! Our waitress, Nicole, was very friendly and attentive. I had heard great things about this place and was glad I went!

First time being there. Excellent food and service. Everyone made you feel at home. We will definitely go again when we are in that area.

If you love seafood, this is an excellent place to eat seafood! The staff are friendly, the service is great and the food is delicious!! This is a locally owned and operated establishment that is a local gem and favorite!! Eat like a local and try Dale's Seafood!!

My daughter called in a order and I went by to pick it up and gave Dana the name on the order .Her response was I don't have that name in a very loud obnoxious and rude tone. So needless to say all I got out of this experience was humiliation.After being regular customer at Dale's for several years I don't appreciate the horrible customer service Dana provided and she is bad for business in my opinion . I will take my business some place that no how to treat all call

The food was okay, not good as as it used to be. But one major problem I have is they've quit giving free hushpuppies. So for that reason I'll start going to Adam's Seafood in Tabor City.
